Personally, I read “Where the Crawdads Sing” a few years ago and more recently watched the movie. Both were fantastic and I highly recommend reading the book and watching the movie.

Greenlights” by Matthew McConaughey is a memoir that recounts his life’s journey through a series of anecdotes and personal reflections, focusing on the moments he calls “greenlights”, which are situations that encouraged him to move forward. This book emphasizes on embracing life’s challenges and opportunities with a positive and proactive mindset, a must read for anyone. I actually only listened to this one. It is read by Matthew McConaughey himself. We have the book as well, but hearing it in McConaughey’s voice is “alight, alright alriiiigght”.

Atomic Habits” by James Clear explores the profound impact of small, consistent changes in daily habits on achieving significant personal and professional transformations, a must read book for all. Clear emphasizes the importance of focusing on systems rather than goals. Therefore, demonstrating how tiny improvements accumulate over time to create remarkable results. Wish You Were Here” is one of Picoult’s newer books. It came out in 2022 and it took place during the Covid Pandemic. This was a hard one to put down. This perfect summer read follows Diana O’Toole, a meticulous planner whose life is derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Stranded in the Galápagos Islands while her boyfriend, a surgical resident, battles the virus in New York, Diana undergoes a profound personal transformation as she rethinks her life choices and priorities. The novel explores themes of love, resilience, and the unexpected turns life can take and makes is a must read book for women.

Wish You Were Here, by Jodi Picoult is  a great read.
