Heated Gear
I am not a fan of being cold… And I live in a cold climate (Minnesota). I have heated gear in which I love. Heated socks, vest, ect. These items help in places like Iceland, especially in the winter months. but I also wear them frequently in my daily life.

Base Layers
Base layers are very important in Iceland. I would wear them under my regular clothes, especially in the winter months. You can always take off layers if you’re too warm… But if you get cold or you’re under-prepared, you could end up very uncomfortable. Don’t underestimate Iceland’s wind, add base layers to your packing list for Iceland.
